Hi, I’m Josie— a tattoo and permanent makeup artist, creative entrepreneur, and founder of the Cat Eye Collective. I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry since 2012. Through all of my years in various branches of the industry, artistry and human connection have always been at the center of what I do.
As a tattoo artist, I’m drawn to work that feels intentional, expressive, and deeply personal. I love blending fine details, architecture, fantasy, moodiness, storytelling, and individuality to create pieces that feel unique to each client.
Outside of work, I’m a mom of a lively, extroverted little girl, Blair. You’ll hear plenty of stories. I’m also a lifelong art lover, crazy cat lady, fan girl of anime & nerdy sci-fi, and thrift & antique hunter with a talent for turning every creative idea into a full-blown project.
The Cat Eye Collective was created as an extension of that vision- a space that feels elevated, artistic, welcoming, and a little quirky. My goal is for every client to feel comfortable, inspired, and fully themselves the moment they walk through the door.
Around here, creativity is encouraged, self-expression is celebrated, and there’s a very high chance we’ll end up talking tattoos, design, music, pets, or your latest hyper fixation

Meet Lauren
With over a decade of experience in the tattoo industry, Lauren has spent her career refining her craft in several long-standing, respected tattoo shops. She’s now bringing that experience to the Cat Eye Collective, where she’s excited to continue growing her business and exploring the creative possibilities that first drew her to tattooing.
Her artistic style leans toward the nostalgic, quirky side of tattooing. Think bold 90s and early 2000s inspiration with a perfect mix of spooky and cute. Whether it’s something playful, creepy, or a little of both, Lauren loves creating tattoos that have personality and don’t always take themselves too seriously. She has experience in tons of art styles and is always open to chatting it through with you.
Outside the studio, Lauren is mom of 5.. so that basically makes her a real life super hero. She also has a passion for animals, caring for any that come her way. She loves spending time with her family, embracing country life, and finding beauty in the simple things. Her free-spirited personality and genuine kindness and care make people feel comfortable from the moment they meet her.
Lauren believes tattooing is about more than creating great artwork—it’s about building lasting relationships, making people feel welcome, and creating pieces that tell a story. She’s excited to meet new clients and help bring their ideas to life.

Meet Jayci
Hi! I’m Jayci. I’ve been licensed and doing hair for a little over 10 years, but have grown up in the industry as a second generation stylist.
Most of my career was spent in the Fountain Square area, but after moving back to Martinsville and four kiddos added to the mix, I’m so excited to join The Nine Lives Club and be closer to home!
I specialize in all things hand painted and curls. I pride myself on giving you the most seamless grow out so you don’t have to come back and see me every 8 weeks - as much as we both might love that 😉
I’m naturally soft-spoke, but love deep conversation and connection. I have curated my books with my most favorite people over the past 10 years and am excited to continue doing that here in Martinsville. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me chasing around four kids with approximately one brain cell (between the five of us), sipping a vanilla latte at a cool coffee shop, or hanging out with my husband aka my bff4l.
6I also own and provide special event hair services with Generations Wedding Co with my mom and sister! So catch us making beautiful wedding parties on the weekends.

Hi, I’m Bryanna—the face behind the camera. 📸
I’ve been photographing families, couples, seniors, and life’s special moments for the past two years, and I genuinely love every minute of it. One of my favorite parts of photography is getting to meet new people, hear their stories, and capture the moments that make them uniquely them.
If you’ve ever worked with me, you’ll probably notice I’m a bit of a detail person. I love paying attention to the little things—the genuine smiles, the in-between moments, the way a hand naturally finds another, or making sure every small detail comes together to create photos that feel authentic and timeless. I believe those little moments are often the ones you’ll treasure the most years from now.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a mom to two amazing kids who keep life fun and full of adventure. I also love spending time with my friends and family, shopping, rodeos, western fashion, and just about anything that gives me an excuse to enjoy time with the people I love.
