Hi, I’m Josie— a tattoo and permanent makeup artist, creative entrepreneur, and founder of the Cat Eye Collective. I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry since 2012. Through all of my years in various branches of the industry, artistry and human connection have always been at the center of what I do.
As a tattoo artist, I’m drawn to work that feels intentional, expressive, and deeply personal. I love blending fine details, architecture, moodiness, storytelling, and individuality to create pieces that feel unique to each client.
Outside of work, I’m a mom, lifelong art lover, fan girl of anime & nerdy sci-fi, thrift & antique hunter, and a proud cat lady with a talent for turning every creative idea into a full-blown project.
The Cat Eye Collective was created as an extension of that vision- a space that feels elevated, artistic, welcoming, and a little unexpected. My goal is for every client to feel comfortable, inspired, and fully themselves the moment they walk through the door.

Meet Birdie — our resident hype woman, beauty artist, and branding brain with a serious eye for making people feel like the best version of themselves.
Before joining The Cat Eye Collective, she spent years in the world of boudoir photography, where she built a reputation not only for creating beautiful imagery, but for creating a safe, uplifting experience for women in intimate spaces. Through her work behind the camera, she became known for her ability to highlight individuality, build confidence, and make clients feel genuinely seen.
Her love for beauty naturally evolved into professional airbrush makeup artistry, where she became obsessed with custom color mixing and enhancing natural features instead of masking them. That same passion later led her into custom airbrush spray tanning and creating personalized, believable tans customized to each client rather than the dreaded “one shade fits all” orange situation we’ve all collectively suffered through at least once.
Alongside beauty services, she also brings her professional photography, branding, and marketing expertise to the collective — helping fellow providers elevate their businesses through intentional imagery, content creation, and brand direction. She’s the kind of person who notices the lighting, fixes your posture, adjusts your angle, and somehow makes you feel cooler in the process.
Outside of work, she’s a homeschooling mama of four and full-time curator of a home that feels like a cozy 1970s dream sequence. She has a love for slower living, meaningful connection, vintage charm, and gathering people around the table for good food and conversation.
